Information you choose to provide

When you contact Stonewood, request an estimate or measurement, or use one of our project forms, you may provide information such as:

• your name, email address, and phone number;
• the project address and project details;
• photos, messages, measurements, floor plans, or other files you choose to send; and
• other information you include in a request or communication.

We use this information to answer your request, prepare an estimate or design, schedule work, communicate with you about your project, and provide customer service.

SW Measure app

SW Measure is designed so that room scans, measurements, reference images, and project information stay on your device while you work.

Sending measurements

When you choose Send Measurements, SW Measure prepares an email for Stonewood. You can review, edit, cancel, or send that email yourself. Nothing is sent automatically.

The email may include your name, phone number, project address, message, measurements, floor plans, 3D project files, and photos that you specifically chose to add.

Scan reference photos

Reference photos created while scanning are kept on your device and are not automatically included when you send measurements. Only photos you deliberately add to the measurement request are attached.

Camera and Bluetooth

Camera access is used to scan rooms and to let you take photos for a measurement request. Bluetooth is used only when you choose to connect a compatible Bosch laser measure.

No advertising or cross-app tracking

SW Measure does not contain advertising or cross-app tracking. Website analytics described below are separate from the SW Measure app.

Website services

Our website may use services such as Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Maps, Places, and address-validation services.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and collect information such as browser and device details, approximate location, and interactions with the website to help us understand site usage and performance. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

Other Google services used on the website, such as reCAPTCHA, Maps, Places, or address validation, may process technical information needed to provide those services and prevent abuse according to Google's own privacy terms.

These website services are separate from SW Measure. We do not use Google Analytics inside the SW Measure app.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service or project you requested;
• use service providers that help us operate our website, email, hosting, or business systems;
• protect our customers, company, website, or legal rights; or
• comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

How long we keep information

We keep customer and project information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, manage a project or customer relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Information stored only inside SW Measure remains on your device until you delete the project, clear the information in the app, or remove the app.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete personal information that you previously sent to Stonewood, subject to records we may need to keep for legal, accounting, warranty, or other legitimate business purposes.

In SW Measure, you control when project information leaves the app. You can cancel the prepared email instead of sending it, and you can delete locally stored projects from your device.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information we receive. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

Our services are intended for people arranging home-improvement or professional projects and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or privacy practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with the latest update date.
